Privacy Policy
Last updated 6 August 2026
Suzhou Keshun Commercial Technology Co., Ltd. manufactures supermarket equipment in Changshu, China and supplies it to retailers, store fitters and importers abroad. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to the information you send us through this website. It is written to describe what we actually do, not what a template says a policy should look like, so where something is still being settled we say so.
What you type into an enquiry form is used to answer you, and nothing else.
01Who We Are and What This Policy Covers
Suzhou Keshun Commercial Technology Co., Ltd. is the manufacturer behind this website. Our plant and registered address is No. 8, Beixin East Road, Wangzhuang, Shanghu Town, Changshu, Jiangsu, China. You can reach us at keshun@kssyt.com or +86 13222226666.
This policy covers this website only. It does not cover the LinkedIn and YouTube pages we link to from the footer, and it does not cover any listing carrying our name on a third-party trading platform. Those run under someone else's terms, not ours.
This is a business-to-business manufacturer's site. Almost everyone who writes to us is a buyer, a store fitter, a retail developer or an importer, writing on behalf of a company rather than as a private consumer.
Children's privacy. This site is not directed at anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If we discover that we have, we delete it.
02Information You Give Us
The only personal information this website asks for is what you type into an enquiry form yourself, or what you write to us directly by e-mail. Every enquiry form on the site has the same four fields:
- Name — so we know who to address the reply to.
- Phone — used when a detail in a quotation is faster to settle by call or on WhatsApp than by mail.
- E-mail — the channel we normally reply through.
- Message — the categories you need, quantities, store details, drawings or questions.
Those four fields are all of it. There is no account to register, no login, and no file upload. We do not ask for identity documents, bank details, or any special category of personal information such as health, religion or political opinion, and you should not send those to us.
03Information Collected Automatically
The website itself builds no profile of you. It does not measure how far you scroll, which links you hover over, or how long you stay on a page.
Separately from the website, the server hosting it keeps standard access logs, in the way almost every web server does: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. Those logs sit with the hosting environment, exist for security monitoring and fault finding, are never merged with anything you send through a form, and are never used to advertise to you. They are retained on the hosting provider's own rotation schedule and then overwritten.
04Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own. There is no advertising cookie, no tracking cookie, no analytics profile and no device fingerprinting. We do not run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, a Meta pixel, a heat-map recorder or any equivalent. There is therefore nothing to ask your consent for, which is why you were not made to dismiss a consent banner on the way in.
The single script this site loads is our own, served from our own domain, and it does nothing beyond opening the navigation menu and running the site search. It stores nothing in your browser — no cookie, no local storage, no session storage. If you block cookies entirely, every page here behaves exactly the same.
If we ever add analytics or an advertising tag, this section and the next one will be rewritten before it goes live, and we will look again at whether visitors in the European Union need a consent banner.
05Third-Party Content and External Links
No part of this website is loaded from somebody else's server. There is no embedded map, no embedded video, no live chat widget, no social plugin and no hosted web font: the typefaces, scripts and images all come from our own domain. Displaying a page here does not require your browser to contact a third party at all.
We do link out to other companies. The footer points to our LinkedIn and YouTube pages and credits the studio that built the site; the contact page will open our address in Google Maps or start a WhatsApp conversation if you ask it to. Every one of these is an ordinary link rather than an embed. Nothing loads from them until you click, once you arrive the other company's privacy policy applies instead of ours, and they tell us nothing about your visit here.
06How We Use Your Information
We use what you send for one purpose: dealing with the enquiry you started. In practice that means:
- Replying to your question.
- Preparing a quotation, and revising it as the specification changes.
- Working out which equipment and which store configuration suit what you described.
- Arranging samples, production and shipping if the enquiry becomes an order.
- Answering after-sales questions about equipment you already have.
- Keeping a record of the correspondence so that a repeat order does not have to start from nothing.
What we do not do: we do not add you to a mailing list, we do not send marketing you did not ask for, and we do not use your details for any purpose unrelated to your enquiry.
07Legal Basis for Processing
If you are writing from the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR asks us to name the legal basis we rely on. Ours are:
- Steps taken at your request before entering a contract — you asked for a price or a specification, and we cannot answer without reading and keeping what you wrote.
- Our legitimate interest in running a manufacturing business — continuing a conversation you started and keeping a record of it against a future order. We believe a business buyer expects this; if you disagree, tell us and we will stop.
- Legal obligation — where export, customs or accounting rules require us to retain the records attached to an actual order.
We do not rely on consent as a basis for marketing, because we do not send marketing.
09International Data Transfer
We are in Changshu, Jiangsu, China. Your enquiry is read by our staff in China, and the record of the correspondence is held in China. If you write from the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States or anywhere else, your information is transferred to China. There is no way around that — it is where the factory and the sales team are.
We would rather state this plainly than describe a safeguard we have not put in place. We have not appointed a representative in the European Union, and we have not signed Standard Contractual Clauses. If you would prefer that your details not be held in China, do not send them through this site, or ask us to delete them and we will.
10How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep enquiries and the correspondence around them for up to 24 months after the last contact, and then delete them. Two years is not an arbitrary figure. A store fitting project routinely goes quiet for a year while a lease, a building permit or a budget is settled, then restarts with the same buyer asking about the same layout; deleting the history sooner would mean asking you to explain the whole project again.
Where an enquiry became an actual order, the commercial, export and accounting records attached to it are kept for the period Chinese law requires. If you want your details removed earlier, ask us and we will delete everything we are not legally obliged to keep.
11Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your information from being lost, misused, or seen by people who have no reason to see it. An enquiry is handled by the sales staff working on it rather than circulated around the company.
We are not going to claim more than that. No transmission over the internet is ever completely secure. If you need to send a drawing or a document you regard as commercially sensitive, say so first and we will agree how to handle it.
12Your Rights and How to Exercise Them
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or simply stop contacting you. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom you can also ask us to restrict how we use it, ask for a copy in a portable form, or object to our relying on legitimate interest.
There is no form to fill in and no process to go through. Send one e-mail to keshun@kssyt.com with enough detail for us to find your record — the address you originally wrote from is usually enough. We will answer within a reasonable time, and within one month wherever we can. If you would rather write through the contact page, that reaches the same inbox.
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom and you are not satisfied with how we handled your request, you are entitled to complain to your national data protection authority.
13Changes to This Policy and Privacy Contact
We will update this page whenever what we do changes — most likely when the enquiry forms are connected to a form handling service, or if analytics is ever added. The date shown at the top and the bottom of the page is always the date the current version was written. We do not keep an archive of earlier versions; if a change matters to you, ask and we will tell you what it was.
