A service desk with the scale recessed into the worktop rather than standing on it, so the weighing surface sits flush with the counter and goods slide on instead of being lifted.
Key Features
- Built to your drawing rather than to a fixed configuration — length, depth, height and internal layout all follow your floor plan.
- Cold rolled steel body with the finish carried across every category on the same order, to one RAL or PANTONE reference.
- Manufactured in our own plant in Changshu, where steel fabrication, woodworking and stainless steel production run on one site.
Applications
Supermarkets, convenience stores, chain retail and speciality stores. Tell us the store format and the floor area and the specification comes back written against them.
What The Photographs Show
Three close-ups for this build. The scale well is the whole specification and it is the first of them.
Recessed Scale Well
Cut to your scale
The well is cut so the scale platform finishes flush with the worktop. A well that is even slightly oversized leaves a gap that collects everything, which is why we need the actual scale model rather than a nominal size.
Raised Glass Screen
Above the worktop
The screen gives the served position some separation without closing it off. On an information or weighing desk the shopper needs to be heard, so the screen is raised rather than full height.
Timber Body
Board over steel
Board over a steel carcase, taking the same finishes as the rest of the store. A service desk is usually one of very few fixtures in its position, so it matching the rest of the shop matters more than usual.
Customisation
Every item on this page is made to order. Send a floor plan, a hand sketch or a photograph of a fixture you like, and we quote against it.
